Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs that have put Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham on their list of targets.

According to Sky Deutschland, the Bundesliga club is said to be “in contact” with the 19-year-old’s camp.

The centre-forward has racked up 13 appearances this season and his performances for Sunderland have been noticed by clubs in England and Europe.

Among them is BVB, whose representatives are said to rate the England Under-21 international “higher” than his brother, Jud Bellingham.

The Champions League finalists signed Jud from Birmingham City in 2019 and sold him to Real Madrid for 103 million euros in 2023, excluding bonuses.

The German club is therefore closely linked to Bellingham.Sky states that Borussia Dortmund, through chief scout Sebastian Krug, “maintains intensive contact” with the Sunderland star’s family.

The two sides have discussed a possible deal for Jobe.At the moment, the possibility of acquiring the Black Cats player is not “hot or concrete”.

The report states that BVB will continue to keep a close eye on him in campaigns for Régis Le Bris’s squad. His contract runs until 2028, and Sky claims that Sunderland are expecting €25 million for his sale. Borussia Dortmund would face competition from English clubs for Jobe.
