Gómez has reportedly spoken to Sosa about the club’s setup and working conditions in Brazil, which could convince the winger to make the move—even if it means leaving European football for now.

Forest’s Financial Considerations in Sosa Sale
Owner Evangelos Marinakis will hope Sosa accepts Palmeiras’ offer, as it presents the most financially favorable outcome for Forest. The Brazilian club has reportedly bid €11 million, which Forest have accepted.

However, a sell-on clause in Sosa’s original transfer from Talleres complicates matters. If Forest sell him for more than €11 million, Talleres would be entitled to a percentage of the profit. As a result, accepting Palmeiras’ current offer would allow Forest to avoid any additional payments to the Argentine club.
