Isaac Schmidt and Max Wober both moved to Werder Bremen and have experienced mixed fortunes, with Schmidt playing eight Bundesliga games so far, but with Wober still waiting for his league debut after picking up an injury.
Mateo Joseph has regularly featured for Mallorca in La Liga, but his former teammate Largie Ramazani has struggled to make an impact at Valencia.
And it is Ramazani who looks set to return to Elland Road, with his time at Valencia looking increasingly likely to be cut short, according to reports in Spain.

According to reports in Spain, Ramazani looks set to have his time at La Mestalla cut unexpectedly short after he moved to the club on a season-long loan deal in the summer.
Previous reports have suggested that Ramazani will return to Elland Road, with Jack Harrison suggested as a potential replacement for the out-of-favour loanee.
Now, according to El Desmarque, Ramazani “will not remain” with Valencia until the end of the season, as the Spanish giants look to move away from the relegation zone.
The report states: “Injured, inconsistent, never a starter, [Ramazani] has played only 12% of the minutes. He’s neither here nor expected to be.
“Valencia CF is considering ending his loan now and is exploring the market for replacements like Harrison. He will not remain at Mestalla.”

Ramazani’s struggles in Spain are an unwelcome development for Leeds boss Daniel Farke, as he attempts to focus on the Premier League survival race.
The forward was deemed surplus to requirements by the Leeds boss in the summer and, following his switch to a 3-5-2 formation, the Whites already have a surplus of wingers, with Dan James out injured and Jack Harrison and Willy Gnonto struggling for game time.
Leeds are also reported to be close to the PSR limits for the current season, with Ramazani identified as a player the club could recoup a transfer fee for.
All of which adds up to an unplanned headache for the Leeds boss. If Valencia do cut Ramazani’s loan deal short, the best solution for all parties would be to arrange another short-term move as a priority.
