Hugo Bueno is having an exceptional loan spell at Feyenoord, making 10 appearances in all competitions and contributing three assists. His impressive performances have led to interest from Barcelona, who, according to Sport, are currently monitoring the full-back. The Spain Under-21 international has been earmarked as a possible replacement for Alejandro Baldé.Before joining Feyenoord on loan, Hugo Bueno spent his entire professional career at Wolves, where he progressed through the youth academy and went on to amass 49 first-team appearances. Due to his lack of regular playing time last season, the Premier League club sent him out on loan.Transfermarkt currently values the defender at €6 million, but this could increase significantly by the end of the campaign. Wolves may decide to keep Bueno as Gary O’Neil’s squad is currently struggling in defence. A possible move to Barcelona would most likely not happen until next summer.
