MusaWolves manager Vitor Pereira has given his verdict on his partnership with Matheus Cunha.
Cunha has completed his move to Manchester United and while it was painful to see him go, his move was no surprise.
In the months leading up to the summer transfer window, there were high expectations that the Brazilian would leave Molineux in a big-money move.
Wolves fans lost faith in Cunha after the striker expressed his desire to leave during the relegation battle, which saw him join United in a £62.5m deal.

Losing a player who has contributed 40 goals in the previous two Premier League seasons would be tough for any club, but Wolves in particular.
Pereira is already concerned about transfers due to the owners’ tight purse strings, but the show must go on and the Brazilian needs to be replaced.
It’s a tough scenario for the Wolves boss ahead of the 2025/26 calendar year, but it’s fair to say Pereira has had time to assess his options.
In an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca, the boss spoke about Cunha as a player and noted that he is aware that the 26-year-old is targeting a move.
“He’s a special player, capable of deciding a game in a matter of seconds. He’s got a lot of talent. I gave him the confidence to use his talent to work for the team and he’s made a big contribution.
“But he felt he had to go and now he’ll have the chance to confirm his place at a club like Manchester United.”
Pereira praised his former player’s “enormous talent” but unfortunately the Brazilian’s legacy at Molineux has been tarnished by his public desire to leave.
Wolves fans feel disrespected by Cunha’s social media posts and are stressing the importance of the club paying him enough compensation so he can move on quickly.

Fans believe Rayan Ait-Nouri fared better than Cunha when he left Wolves.
The Brazilian has been warned he could be booed off in WV1, which would be a bittersweet reception for a player who, for all his shortcomings, was a great servant.
Cunha will return to Molineux in December in the Premier League as a Man United player, but is yet to make his debut.
Man United’s pre-season schedule begins on July 19 when the Red Devils take on Leeds United in Stockholm, a game in which Cunha is likely to feature.
Wolves fans will be keeping a close eye on what the 26-year-old does, but they will be more concerned about what their own club can produce to replace the former powerhouse.
