Yet it was the aftermath of Julian Araujo’s late, decisive goal that truly stole the spotlight, as the Celtic full-back sparked wild scenes — and an irritated response from a Kilmarnock steward that Sky Sports cameras failed to capture.

Supporters in green and white may have begun to fear the opportunity had slipped away as the clock wound down during the seven minutes of stoppage time.
But when Araujo appeared at the far post and wheeled away in celebration toward the travelling support, one Kilmarnock steward appeared far from impressed with the defender’s exuberance.
What made it even sweeter for the away end was the visible frustration etched across the steward’s face as Celtic fans and Araujo transformed Rugby Park into a carnival atmosphere.
