MusaCrystal Palace need to do everything they can to try and bring in Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola in the summer, amid links to Thomas Frank.
Palace are in the market for a new manager ahead of the end of the season, with GIVEMESPORT sources even suggesting that a change in the dugout could happen earlier. Oliver Glasner is under increasing pressure after a disappointing run of results, although he might have saved himself with a win over Wolves at the weekend.
The Eagles won for just the second time in 2026, and it took a late Evann Guessand winner for them to secure the three points. It was a toxic atmosphere at Selhurst Park, with the capital club struggling against the worst side in the Premier League this season.
Palace Must Move for Bournemouth Boss
Crystal Palace should be looking to make a move to appoint Bournemouth manager Iraola in the summer, especially if one of the alternatives is former Tottenham boss Frank.
Journalist Alan Nixon has claimed that one of Steve Parish and Palace’s targets is Iraola, while there have also been heavy links to Frank.
Iraola has done a superb job with Bournemouth, and if there is any possibility of him becoming attainable in the summer, Palace need to do everything they can to bring him in.
The Spanish manager, described as ‘the best young coach in the world’ by Sam Tighe, has worked with a club that looks to produce and develop young players, and he’s guided his Bournemouth side to become a solid Premier League outfit, despite them regularly selling their best players.
Glasner’s Tenure Coming to an End
When fans start turning on their manager, it usually spells the beginning of the end. Palace supporters are growing increasingly frustrated with Glasner for multiple reasons.
The Austrian manager recently called out the Palace supporters, asking them to ‘stay humble’. The fans responded against Wolves, chanting ‘staying humble’, sarcastically cheering one of his substitutions, and revealing a banner during the game.
It’s surely the beginning of the end for Glasner, and not just for the end of the campaign. A change in the dugout certainly wouldn’t be a surprise in the near future due to the toxicity, regardless of them beating Wolves at the weekend.
