Haiden Deegan Overcomes Off-Track Moment to Secure Strong Points at Indy.

Haiden Deegan continues to prove his resilience in the 250SX class, salvaging a strong points haul at the Indianapolis Supercross despite an off-track excursion during the night’s main event.

The Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing rider came into Indy with momentum and high expectations, aiming to build on his impressive rookie Supercross campaign. From the start of the day, Deegan looked comfortable on the rough and rutted Indy track, laying down competitive lap times and battling near the front.

In the main event, Deegan got off to a solid start, positioning himself in the top group early. However, a small mistake sent him off track, costing him crucial time and positions. Despite the setback, the 18-year-old quickly regrouped, charging back through the field with aggressive yet controlled riding.

By the checkered flag, Deegan had recovered well, securing valuable points that keep him in the title conversation. His ability to stay composed under pressure and fight back has been a key factor in his strong Supercross season thus far.

After the race, Deegan acknowledged the challenge but remained optimistic about his performance. “It was a tough track tonight, and I made a mistake that set me back, but I kept pushing and made the best of it,” he said. “I’m learning every round and just trying to stay consistent.”

With another strong result under his belt, Deegan continues to establish himself as one of the top contenders in the 250SX class. As the series heads into the final stretch, his determination and ability to bounce back from adversity will be crucial in his championship pursuit.

Up next, Deegan and his team will shift their focus to the next round, where he’ll look to keep the momentum rolling and fight for a podium finish.
